Perfect for small and intimate gatherings
With seating for up to 80 the Hall is an ideal space for small and intimate gatherings, concerts and exhibitions.
Ideal for exercise classes and workshops
Elgar comfortably fits 11 people and 1 instructor for exercise classes and is also often used for day courses.
Excellent for formal meetings
Shaw is equipped with whiteboards and a 65-inch flat screen, with seating for up to 12 people.
Ideal for relaxed meetings and workshops
Lawnside is the most flexible space of the lower ground floor, with seating for up to 25 people.

Regular Classes
Yoga, Pilates, Dance and singing classes all take place on a weekly basis at Elmslie House. We also cater for one-off workshops or retreat weekends.
Live Music
The house’s Hall, complete with stage, sound & lighting system and a Steinway Grand Piano, make it an ideal venue for both performers and their audiences.
An Exhibition
The Hall, which has a tall ceiling and an abundance of natural light is fitted with a gallery standard hanging picture rail system. Paintings and sculptures work well in this space.
Corporate Events & Business Meetings
Elmslie House’s relaxed, bright and welcoming rooms are perfect for hosting meetings, seminars and gatherings. Refreshments can be arranged – from tea, coffee and cake, to light lunches and afternoon tea.
