John Piper and Mid-Century Art: a New Selection

27th May - 5th June 2022

At last, we're back with an exhibition which combines original fabrics and prints by John Piper with new works which capture the styles and subjects of art from the mid-‘40s to the mid-’70s.

We will be displaying original paintings, fabrics, posters, limited edition prints and a selection of books relating to John Piper.

Works will be displayed by artists including Anthony Gross, Norman Jaques, Edwin la Dell, Robert Tavener, Julian Trevelyan and especially John Piper.

Friday 27th May: 6.00-8.00 pm Private View: please contact Richard Turkington to attend
Saturday 28th – Thursday 2nd June: 11.00-4.00
Friday 3rd June: 1.00-6.00 pm
Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June: 11.00-4.00

Please contact me if you and your friends/family would like your own personal 'quiet viewing' outside these times.

Whilst no longer compulsory, you may wish to wear a mask within the exhibition which is well-ventilated and hand sanitiser gel is provided at the entrance.
