Join us at Elmslie House for a very special intimate evening of acoustic songs performed by singer-songwriter Ruhiya. For this concert, Ruhiya will be sharing new unreleased songs on a variety of instruments and will also be joined by special guest Jakey Boy Hughes to perform both released and unreleased music.
Ruhiya is a British/ Filipino singer-songwriter inspired by folk, soul, sacred chants and nature. Raised in Herefordshire, Ruhiya spent many years living and performing in London and Dubai before recently returning home during the Covid-19 lockdown. Eager to play music with locally based musicians she teamed up with her old friend from Hereford College, singer-songwriter Jakey Boy Hughes. The fruits of their musical collaboration will be shared in this concert.
