Master saxophonist Jerry Bergonzi gained worldwide recognition while playing with, two generations of Brubeck bands. In an endless series of rave reviews he is credited for his relentless drive, inner fire, total command, awesome technique, elastic lyricism, rich resonance and as a musical visionary. His music has been applauded throughout the world in all the major festivals, concert halls and venues.

Jerry is welcomed to the stage in Malvern with his long-time musical collaborators and friends Mark Hodgson on bass and Stephen Keogh on drums.

The Andrew Duncan Quintet will be supporting The Bergonzi Trio on this one night only concert. The band comprises of some of the very best talent from The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire . It is a sneak preview, if you like, of the stars of tomorrow.
